Become a quant or keep recruiting
I've been recruiting for IB SA positions (non-target) since the beginning of this year and have not been able to land an offer yet. I did get an offer from a BB to be a quantitive summer analyst and I am tempted to accept it. IB has been my main focus and I got the quant offer kinda randomly. If I accept this offer is there any way that I can keep my options as open as possible for exits to PE/VC/HFs? It's still only a SA position, so I am thinking that I can try to re-recruit for FT IB or spend two years as a quant in a group that would have strong transferable skills (like macro research).
Ideal exits would be Blackstone/KKR or top HF
