Best Consumer/Retail IB group?
Wondering what are the best Consumer and Retail IB groups on Wall Street? Know BAML was very good but had a bad year last year and that JPM and GS are also pretty strong.

Career Resources
JPM and GS are certainly the strongest with respect to ECM. GS also has a strong M&A practice, but it's more of an even playing field with respect to M&A across BB, MM firms and boutiques.
Goldman Sachs, Barclays, JP Morgan, BAML
JPM has led the charge in consumer M&A for the past two years
Centerview is also pretty dominant in this space
In no particular order: JPM, BAML, GS, CS, Centerview, Citi, Jefferies, and MS
bump. can anyone comment on CS or Citi's C&R teams?
currently work at one of the two you just mentioned. Just from what I've seen in the space, GS, CVP, JPM, BAML are pretty dominant, also see a decent amount of MS. I've heard Barclays is supposed to be good but don't really see them around. I'd say CS / Citi are good enough but not quite at the level of those above (idk about Barclays). DB I see now and again as well. Never see UBS.
Any insight on hours / exits at CS / Citi in the group? Not sure if deal flow between platform is a direct relationship with either
Isn't PWP's team supposed to be pretty good too? Also Jefferies - never knew they were a C&R player?
Out of the EBs, I think Evercore and CVP are above the rest, but to be fair I don't know much about PWP's team.
