Best Groups at Alvarez and Marsal?

Could anyone give me a ranking of the best groups within Alvarez and Marsal (PEPI, CPI etc), in terms of comp, perception by the finance industry, how well they set you up for good exits (PE, possibly IB), and maybe culture? Interested in the firm but want to know more about how they're viewed. TIA.

think only their rx group could possibly go to pe on investments team(likely in distressed pe), any other group like pepi would go to ops

You break into ops team because you deal with operations. There are a gazillion bankers who will have better bona fides than you (to state the obvious; because they work on deals) when looking for a deal team role.

I’m sure there are exceptions & not sure what it looks like for the consultant friendly firms but would imagine its a uphill battle.
