JPM Industrials, GS TMT, MS TMT. M&A varies across the top shops, and is hard to gauge. CS TMT back in the day was incredibly strong, especially during the Alibaba era.

HK printed Chinese IPOs non-stop for 20-25 years, so there used to be a lot of IPO deals for sure. I think it'd be wrong to say "not much M&A". There are EBs that provide pure M&A advisory, with no ECM/DCM business. Hong Kong used to be the center of Asia for finance, so M&A covered many companies across different countries in Asia. Today, HK is more North Asia, and SG is seen as the hub for SE Asia. That being said, some senior SE Asia coverage bankers still sit out of HK.

What do you mean by IPO bankers? Like corporate finance guys? There are plenty of exit opportunities for corporate finance guys as well in Asia, at least in HK.
