we do, just smaller market and teams
most levfin groups are in commercial banking (RBC corporate client group, CIBC mid-market levfin, BMO corporate finance, etc) and you basically get worked the same hours for 50% less pay. we don't have enough sponsor activity up here to actually warrant a trad us style levfin group. RBC's syndications & levfin team is like 5 people vro
