Best M&A and Tech Groups on the street?
What are the best M&A and tech groups currently on the street? I'm trying to decide between the two groups. What's more prestigious/better for exit ops (I know it's traditionally M&A but it seems like everyone is going to tech nowadays)?
GS TMT and MS M&A are probably the two most jerked off teams on Wall Street.

Someone give some context on East coast teams beyond MS and GS, please.

Not all banks have distinct M&A teams.
Also varies by what you're looking for. You talking BB or EB?
Generally, EB is a little higher compensated but I would argue the experiences are a little bit different. BB is the tried and true path that will grind you out and send you to PE. EB will still give you PE opps, but experience a bit softer
Obvi, this is just one man's view based on my experience and friends. I'm sure it varies greatly by group, by bank, etc
From my knowledge, for BBs, Citi and GS don't have separated M&A groups but the other BBs do.
Tech: GS TMT SF/MS Menlo/Qatalyst M&A: MS M&A and top EB M&A (can't really go wrong with EB M&A)
