Best Non RX Sell Side seat for Opportunistic exits?

Title. Will be starting out in MM coverage. Want to exit to an opportunistic fund (hybrid value/ special opportunities/tac opps). Looking for funds primarily focused on non-control equity & credit, invest across the capital structure & provide flexible/bespoke financing solutions. I have no interest in distressed or traditional buyout strategies and plan to target funds accordingly.

I've been looking at:

  • structured equity (converts, derivatives, nav financing etc) groups  -  concerned this won't give me enough credit underwriting exposure + unsure of the exit track record.
  • Levfin & coverage  - seem too "vanilla" and most seem to exit to direct lending & buyout.
  • I heard FIG (specfin) gives you exposure to securitization + M&A, financing, etc

Would love to hear any suggestions below. Feel free to clear up any misconceptions.
