Best SA Option
What is the best option for a summer analyst position? PWP SF; Jefferies SV; or UBS for S&T? Any help would be appreciated.

Well, do you want to do S&T or banking? That would be an important starting point. If you want S&T, do UBS (obviously), if you want IBD, do PWP.
I am mainly looking for the best exit ops. I could see myself doing either. Jefferies is in there because of the name recognition for employers and Grad schools.
You can rule out Jefferies completely
sent you a pm for question jessica
But i think PWP is definitely a better option
i would personally go with PWP for better exit opps. they are supposed to have a great reputation
PWP.
Firstly, do you want to do S&T or Banking?
Personally, I would do PWP.
Keep in mind this not PWP NY but SF. The SF office is very very small. You could try and do a summer and then internally transfer to NY
If you want to do PE, you should go to PWP.
If you're thinking S+T, go UBS. It is more of a question of what you want to do between those two, as they're not exactly going to be similar experiences.
PWP SF just started their office a few months ago with 2 MDs from Lehman Menlo Park. In terms of name recognition, it is much stronger than Jefferies and is doing much better than them. However, if PWP is anything like the Lehman office, your internship will be very intense with very very long hours.
Jefferies Broadview has historically done a lot of midmarket sell-side M&A. I had a coworker who came from there as an analyst and he said even down to analyst level they would goto trade conferences etc. to try to source. i wouldn't discount it so heavily against Perella's new shop, which is effectively an unknown quantity for jr. level work.
