Best Undergraduate Economics Programs in Canada

I am an American student that would like to study economics, but because of financial restrictions and my parents office offering 66% off international tuition, I am really interested in studying in Canada. I have interned at the World Bank and worked with many economics professors at universities on research, so my dream is to study economics as an undergrad, work on wall street as an intern, and see where it goes from there. Would anyone have any recommendations on a strong economics school in Canada with ties to Wall Street? I would extremely appreciate it.

As far as I have read, the programs in Canada aren't like the US where you are supposed to study economics to get a high finance job. Practically everyone in Canada does a degree in business/finance and then applies for jobs in investment banking. The strongest Canadian school is the Ivey Business School at Western University, insane placements, its a target school for goldman, Evercore, ares, Leonard Green, silverlake and I think they send a odd few kids to the rest of the banks as well.

That is extremely helpful and thank you so much. I was looking into Ivey and I think it is better paying around $6,000 a year to go there vs. $60,000 to many other places if it still is considered a target school by major banks. I'll make sure to apply there.

Ivey definitely has a leg up with OCR over McGill and Queens but I would say top students at each of these three schools can and do place just as well as top students from any other school in the world so if you think you can perform well, I'd go with the one you see yourself having the best time at
