Big Change in GPA When Applying Vs Before Internship Start
I just wanted to reach out because I have started applying to internships for 2022 summer (I am a rising junior class of 2023). I am doing a PE internship this summer and applied to all of my 2022 with my GPA of 3.52 which it was prior to this semester. However, due to the loss of a family member and depression my GPA this semester was about 2.1 and my overall would be around 3.22 to end this semester. I am just worried about companies thinking I lied about my GPA when originally applying even though when I applied it was 3.52. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
