Blackstone Corporate Finance Analyst
Hello all,
Long time lurker here. I recently received an invite for Blackstone's Corporate Finance team. I did some research but couldn't find much information on google or wso. Initially, I thought it'd be more FP&A type job since Blackstone no longer does M&A (PJT partners). However, the interviewer is a PE associate so now I am not 100% what the job entails. Would appreciate any input (type of work, exit ops, culture, etc.)
Cheers.

Maybe it is for their portfolio companies.
You mean FP&A for their portfolio companies? If so, would it be different from typical FP&A at a public company?
I meant Corp Dev and CF related work for their portfolio companies, and it would make sense for you to meet with the PE associate as after buyout or investment, BX has the need to improve their portfolio companies and realize the value.
