He also gave me useful feedback on my other stories, and was clear about why they worked well even where there was nothing to improve. For example, he advised me to bring the most relevant skills and results forward earlier in my teamwork story. He also recognised his older self in my stories as if he were reading through his own diary, which made the whole session feel positive and constructive.
