It’s SPAC. Doubt there’s any deal flow right now. They might get some deals with liquidation soon though…
!00%, people from SPAC groups around the street are changing teams given the market and shifting company policies (refering to the BBs here, who pretty much collectively are getting out of SPACs / no new mandates)

According to SPACResearch, BMO hasn't done a SPAC deal in 6 months. Not exactly their fault, but you do not want to be anywhere near a SPAC group right now (esp at a firm with a recent history of cutting entire teams). You're better off in a regional boutique.
Yeah BMO cut their entire energy team based in US 1.5 years ago (sold at the lowest point lol). Can’t imagine the spac group not getting materially impacted through the next round of layoffs.
