BMO Toronto Winter 2027

BMO Toronto posted its Winter 2027 IB internship yesterday and says they’re looking for students graduating in 2028, 2029, or 2030. The Internship would be from Jan - April of ‘27.

I’m an incoming freshman graduating in 2030, so I technically meet the graduation requirement, but I haven’t started university yet. I have landed a search fund internship that’s from July - October and a business development internship at a small local construction business from the spring on my resume.

Would you guys apply? Do banks actually consider incoming freshmen for these postings, or is the 2030 graduation date mainly intended for students who are already a year or two into university?

I mean it says you can apply, but if I'm being honest I think your chances of actually converting an interview are very low to near impossible. Not sure why they put 2030.
