BNP vs.B&T vs. RBC vs. RBS vs. Suntrust vs. Wells Fago
What is the ranking among these non bulge bracket banks but are not boutiques since they have very big commercial banking arms?
BNP Paribas Societe general RBC RBS SunTrust Wells Fargo PNC b&T maybe even Fifth Third bank
what else am i missing?
who is the best?
BNP Paribas has over 2 trillion in assets so I'm sure that has to count for something. Are you talking about the reputability of their IB divisions or the banks as a whole?
BNP is the largest bank in the world I believe, in terms of assets. Soc Gen is up there as well. Most of these firms have minimal to very little presence in the US, with large operatsions abroad. The only US ones are suntrust which is based in the south, PNC, fifth third, BNY Melon which you didnt mention, BBVA which you didn't mention, and BB&T.
BNP SocGen BBVA Fifth Third BNY Melon BB&T
Everyone else
Don't hate on those rankings either jumbojones, I know how you like to stir up trouble.
^^haha dude you're ridiculous but in an entertaining way
RBC is doing very well. Investment banking arm in the U.S. is very young but they're growing very quickly (Analysts are getting killed right now) and are already Top 25 M&A YTD.
