BOA/BAML Sophomore SA 2021 Recruiting
Just wanted to create a thread for current sophomores (c/o 2023) about Bank of America recruiting. I think Hirevues may be coming out soon, but wanted to hear peoples updates.
I heard through people who heard that soon as well. So debatable in reliability.
Hirevues went out last week, some had accelerated processes and have received offers I heard

lol my friend got a hirevue yesterday and I got my offer on Tuesday there are deff people who are getting accelerated, not sure what the deciding factors are but it is possible
Has anyone already received a Hirevue?
I have no clue what process some kids have gone through already to get accelerated timeline / offers, but know for a fact BofA has not kicked off their normal soph process. BofA did the same thing last year - they ran an accelerated SD in late August for barely any kids but did 2 more SDs in September for the normal rounds
How do they select who gets accelerated?
Like I said, I have no clue what process it is that gets them looped into accelerated since BofA doesn't have any freshman diversity programs like (UBS, CS, Citi, etc.), which all provide an opportunity to interview early. Probs kids who are top candidates with outstanding offers or who networked very hard and with the right people.
Just LinkedIn x-rayed and found no results for incoming sophomore analysts at BAML, but see a bunch for UBS.

As someone who's at UNC (junior though), I don’t know anyone who's received an offer yet. Diversity and non.
I was looking for some as well and did find two students but they just had "summer analyst' instead of 'sophomore analyst'.
Anyone have any updates?

Just heard back, gotta have final round interviews tomorrow... Does anyone know what kind of questions they’ll have? (I’m applying to IBD) Just behavior or technical? I’m not a strong technical person (liberal arts) so I’m kinda worried. No one at my school has been to this program before so no one to turn to...
