Analysts were very happy / surprised from what I’ve seen. The bar was set extremely low from the shit associate pay last year, seems like the improved market and the fact that a TON of people quit had an impact on pay. These are figures based on what I can confirm:
- Analyst 2’s: $110 top bucket, $80k mid bucket
-Analyst 1’s: $70k top, $60k middle, $45k bottom
For some context, middle bucket associate 2s received $70k last year and middle bucket associate 1s came in around $40k.
Looks like what the bank wanted worked. Pay so poor across the board that a jump the next year makes everyone happy even though numbers are still lower than what they were pre-COVID and pre-massive inflation the past few years.
That might hold true for the associate pay later this year. But the analyst pay was high even by historical standards.
For the associates, could 100% see them saying “wow your bonus is up 100%” when it increases from $40k to $80k. Little do people know it used to be $130k
