Bonuses Within Banks
Are analyst bonuses at elite groups such as GS TMT, JPM HC, BofA LevFin significantly higher than other IB groups? I feel like since their deal flow and hours are extremely high maybe bonuses tend to be higher.
Nope, at the analyst / associate level buckets are the same across groups. There may be a different number allocated to each bucket within the top groups though (e.g. a top group may have 25% of its analysts getting the top bucket bonus vs.10% in a mediocre group). The latter point varies by firm though.
so would you say top bucket bonus is around 40k?
