Broski Inquiring about Diversity
Whats up fellow brochachos - I'm a white AF looking male with a white AF last name (in Canada). However, my mom's Hispanic - should I put minority in my applications or will recruiters be like, wtf he's clearly white? Don't want to hurt my chances unnecessarily ya know? (post is srs despite vernacular, thx)
If your mom is Hispanic then you’re half Hispanic, so yes put it down. My brother and I are half Hispanic and his name is something super generic like “Tom Smith” and if people asked he’d just say “my moms hispanic” and the questioning ended there.
Thanks!
I always just tell people I identify as a gay black Native American Hispanic tranny quadriplegic with downs. Will get you interviews anywhere, and no one can challenge me on it or else they’re waysis.
