I personally am just a Celtics fan. I LOATHE Lebron James with all my heart and soul. I can't even express how bad I want to see Lebron NOT win the championship, whether that means rooting for D.Rose, Kevin Durant or ... (Gulp)... Mark Cuban.

Same. Though, I do like the Bulls too (soft spot from my younger yrs of watching MJ and Pippen) so I'm rooting for them not just to see the Heat go down.

Lebron is arguably THE most genetically gifted NBA player to step on the court. No one's arguing that he doesn't work hard and isn't one of the best players out there now. What pisses people off is his attitude, cockiness, etc. He's just not that likable. The heat, too, are not. They've got what appears to be an entitled all-star cast that simply wasn't getting shit done until recently.
The Bulls came together to win as the underdog (at least by betting standards) and are still David standing in front of Goliath. People aren't cheering for the Bulls as much as they're cheering against the Heat.
I can't say I've been a Bulls fan for the last few years. Haven't been since the Jordan era. But now that they're back it certainly pulls on those sentimental strings and makes them a fun team to cheer for.

I'm not saying LBJ isn't the most gifted player in the league, which he is. I'm saying the national media was all over his dick the whole year, not Rose's. However, I can certainly say that Rose destroyed LBJ in clutchness this year. That is not arguable. DRose, best closer in the NBA, hands down.

Really? LeBron deserved (use this term loosely) every "hater in the media" that he got this year. If he wanted to keep a low profile, he shouldn't have put on that spectacle about "taking his talents to South Beach". By doing that, he's inviting the media to write about his off-the-court shenanigans instead of focusing on what an insanely gifted player he is. Rose, on the other hand, is the epitome of a professional athlete which is why he doesn't attract negative media.

i think people pulling the trigger on the heat are a little naive. the bulls struggled at times against two teams that are clearly inferior to the heat. the heat cruised through the same similar competition. it was an off game and i still think the series can go either way.
