Can a recently retired MD or Head help you with recruiting?
Appreciate anyone's thoughts.
Say if you have a connection with a retired MD or Head at a firm you really like - would it help reaching out to them, would they still be able to help with the recruiting process?
Do you think they would even want to talk or is it just wasting their time?
Thanks
I think so. I have people that I have talked to that have not been in the business for 5 years or more, but the people still at the firm know who they are, and if the people still in the firm really like them, you have a pretty good chance of getting an interview. That being said, reach out to everyone you can, because even if you don't get an internship through someone, there is always someone else. Good luck!
Thanks!
you're welcome
Yes for sure. Maybe even more helpful than someone currently busy with work.
