Can I chill now or what?

So I recently got my junior summer 2024 IB offer in NYC. This semester was so stressful with balancing recruiting, classes, and extracurriculars. Now that I got my offer, do I get to chill out now or is there anything else I should be worrying about? What did you guys do after you accepted your SA offer?

Feels weird not needing to worry about my junior summer, since it was something on my mind 24/7 since coming to college. I wasn't super social or in the party scene since I was super focused on getting my offer, so I hope I can kinda relax now and take advantage of my SEC college's social scene.

Relax now while you have the time. Brush up on technical stuff before you start if you feel compelled. You’ll never have this much free time again, take advantage

Seconding that ^^^

Relax, focus on keeping your GPA up, hit the gym, improve your social life, get a hobby (trying to learn guitar). Hang with family if they are close.

I’m heading into my SA this summer and will brush up on techs/ networking when the semester ends. Just enjoy yourself.

Why does keeping GPA up even matter?

I was just focussed on passing (and thus graduating on time) and would recommend. Pretty much put College on the back burner to an extent. Travelled, went gym, had a gf. Good times. What are you studying for?

This assumes you have a moderate level intelligence and can pass/ maintain grades without much work…

that’s what i’m planning on doing too. i don’t want to completely slack off, but just try to maintain a 3.5 and get through SA w a return offer.
