Can I round a 3.65 to 3.7 for recruiting? PLEASE help...

I have heard very mixed opinions about this and am wondering if I would get my offer rescinded. I am recruiting for IB right now, and people have told me I should round it. However, other people told me not to round it in case they rescind my offer. Very on the fence; any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

I did the same thing, had a 3.64 and double rounded to a 3.7. Shit, I probably rounded that to an even 3.8 in some applications, no one even cares.

Never once did I have to submit a transcript, and I went to an EB. Background checks prob only see if you actually graduated from the university.

Same thing with ACT scores for PE recruiting. I said I got a 35. Never had to submit my ACT report

 

Agreed. They do check transcript but they do it through a background check firm. The checking firm does not care about GPA, they just want to see that you are not lying about what school you go to and if you graduated. So rounding up is fine.

 

Yep go ahead and round it. I've worked for 3 different banks and not once were transcripts requested. Obviously don't flat out lie, but rounding is okay.
