Canadian Banks Bonus

My understanding is that Canadian banks like RBC, BMO, TD etc have early fiscal year end and will announce their bonus in early December. Have monkeys heard any indications? Better or worse than last several years?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some insights regarding Canadian bank bonuses:

  • RBC Toronto: The bonuses were reported to be really bad, causing dissatisfaction among employees. (Source: ST, Prospect in S&T - Other, 8 months ago)
  • Scotiabank: There were significant departures, with many VPs and up being poached by National Bank, and several juniors quitting after bonuses. (Source: laterskater, Certified Investment Banking Professional - 1st Year Associate, 1 year ago)
  • General Trends: There have been issues with talent attraction at RBC due to a mass exodus last year. If bonuses at the end of the month aren't good, more juniors might leave. (Source: oil-king, Senior Monkey, 1 year ago)
