From what I've seen, the top Canadian Masters programme to break into IB is the Masters of Financial Economics (MFE) from UofT. This is mainly due to the academic rigour of the programme and the fact that it's supported by Rotman, so it has those connections. Bay Street recruiters are familiar with the programme, as well. McGill's Master of Management in Finance (MMF) ranks 17th on the QS Master of Finance 2021 rankings, so it's obviously recognized and is a fantastic option for Montreal, but I am not certain of its position on Bay Street, but maybe it's held to a similar regard. Rotman's Master of Financial Risk Management (MFRM) is also a good option, but it's not as established as the MFE. UWO also has a Master of Financial Economics. Unfortunately, it does not have the Ivey name attached to it. Keep in mind, Rotman's MBA dominates Bay Street, so if you have the experience, that would be the best choice, but I assume since your interested in McGill's MMF, you don't have that experience yet.

Thank you so much! That was very helpful. Yes I don't have the required work experience to apply for the rotman MBA hence I was looking forward to some good masters programs.
