Cap market teams vs. low tier bank

What makes more sense between:
BB cap market team (think MS/JPM/GS LevFin team) vs a tier 3 bank in M&A with great exposure (if ur good seniors can let u hold master after 1 or 2 years since its slower and they really want the better analysts to learn fast).

On one side brand name seems to be so important in this industry, but the LevFin teams at BBs basically do 0 modelling, mostly coordination work…

FYI im more interested in PC/SS as compared to PE for exits. So LevFin sounds ideal but still worried the low exposure will actually become a bigger issue rather than doing short stints at worse banks until you eventually get the opportunity to make it into a good IBD team at a BB.
