Career in banking? Any thoughts?
Hello all, was wondering if anyone has any insight into the thought process of being a career banker vs. exiting as a junior. I obviously understand why many people chose to exit to PE, but I also am intrigued more and more by staying in banking. From the relationship-based nature of bringing in deals to appreciating the advisor role, I’d love to hear what any career bankers - or even those who even decided to go A2A - have to say about why, their thought process, etc.

There are always going to be people who enjoy the work and want to do it full time though
