I was wondering if anyone knew any information on the Centerview Partners typically opens up their applications? Since there isn't an explicit application you fill out, and instead just a form on their website, it's a bit unclear. I looked at the 2021 recruiting thread and gathered the following information. Please feel free to correct me in the comments.
- Recruiting takes place at the end of summer
- Info sessions took place around April
- They'll accelerate you if you have another offer
- San Francisco recruiting takes place around Aug. - Sep.
Agreed with everything said here and in OP, except I have heard they are not willing to accelerate any timelines in the NY office. They Will wait and see who lets offers explode.
Disagreeing here. I had offers from BB NY and have people (junior + senior) pulling for me within Centerview but timeline couldn’t be accelerated. I believe no one got the accelerated process except one person whose parents are MDs and leveraged relationships

Interviews for NY don't happen until Sept. I started networking in June (not heavy). Last yr info session was in late March. Women's Program last year was a bit later in spring with calls starting in like May, but some schools are having Women's events now.
Close friend is an analyst there - if you qualify as diversity, they've started recruiting already. Informational interviews only I think, but they are evaluative. Regular recruiting starts over the summer.
Second this. Had an informational last week and was told that their process typically begins at the end of the summer, but like you said, if you have another offer they’ll accelerate you.

I know a friend who accelerated his EVR offer for CVP for SA 2021. He goes to Harvard and is non-diversity. Said he had to network like hell to get in the process because theyre very stringent on letting non-diversity accelerate. But if you can get your shit together they will let you recruit early but you have to basically have a killer why Centerview and be a top candidate otherwise
experienced something similar so can confirm. They let some top target kids in at my non-H target accelerate another top BB/EB
