Not likely. I would not ask unless you have some urgent reason to be in another location (i.e. dying parent you need to be close to). GS is super stingy about moving locations, I think you have to wait a full year or maybe two years to transfer groups or locations as a FT.

At least there's no income tax in Texas and low cost of living

 

yeah its PWM. have u lived there? do they have a lot of interns there? is the city full of professionals that I can network with?
