chatGPT is one of the most impressive things I've seen. I'm in awe thinking about what this technology will look like 10+ years from now.

It probably read "shitpost" first and then read "wall street oasis".

Try again so that "Wall street oasis" comes before "shitpost"

When in doubt, use more peanut butter

Which ones exactly?
AI is just constructing a response from old responses. Essentially it just searches through WSO and then writes a response. It’s impressive,  sure but it requires existing publicly available content and templates to create anything whereas most jobs are either working off of private information or are creating new content. Even fields such as equity research won’t be automated out because they have to factor in unique events that happened in the past fiscal quarter that no AI would be able to reflect on as no published reports would be out yet.

how long before AI displaces call centres?

I know people that have owned a call centre since early 2000's. I don't imagine many people want to actually talk on the phone nowadays.

edit:

It is difficult to predict exactly how long it will be before AI replaces call centers, if it ever does. The development and adoption of AI technology is ongoing, and it is likely that it will continue to improve and become more advanced over time. However, it is important to note that AI is not currently able to provide the same level of empathy and understanding as a human agent, and there will always be a need for human interaction and problem-solving in certain situations. As such, it is unlikely that AI will completely replace call centers in the near future.

This AI Chat GPT is really good when it analyzes a million different scenarios in a few seconds, but it struggles with nuances and small edge cases that it has never seen. There is a good speech about this I am sure you can find on youtube. Its like how the AI can destroy the top league of legends players but struggle differentiating between a blurred image of a bicycle and a motorcyle, a scenario hypothetically it hasn't seen before.
