Hi all,
Going to Booth for my MBA in the fall and I wanted to know if there are a significant amount of RE groups at banks in Chicago. I've heard Chicago is more industrials and perhaps less everything else.
Obviously NYC is NYC, but I'm hell bent on staying in Chicago for family.

I think wells has a REGL group in Chicago, but other than that all the big groups are in NY or Charlotte. If you're set on RE, Chicago has a lot of nice buyside shops. Starwood has an office in Chi, Walton Street, Harrison Street, Pru, Heitman, I think Ares too.
