CISI Certificate

Hello Folks,

Let me introduce myself, I am just graduate from an overall good university in Europe (not the top like HEC, Bocconi, LSE...) but well-recognized.
I followed a cursus with a finance major (financial markets and corporate finance).

One of my relationships who has more than 15 years finance experience (previous trader in top tier BB) in London advised me to take the CISI exams.
I was particularly interested in the:
- Capital Markets Programme
- corporate finance Technical Foundations

My intuition is that it can be good to have this diploma which will certificate my knowledge in finance (a little bit like the CFA but less work and less material to study).
Do you think that it may increase your chances to be admitted to an interview to break either into IB or S&T.
Is it well recognized by the HR...?
Do you think that it is a good idea?

Thanks a lot,

Thanks a lot mate. Just to confirm, you were given two PDFs for the technical and regulation part + videos for each chapter I suppose? And you skipped those PDFs + videos and only prepared through the exercises given online?
