Citi - Final round interview?

Hi All, anyone knows what is the waiting time after the final round interview for the Citi Sales & Trading Summer Associate program?

I interviewed with them in London two weeks ago and still haven't heard back :( I know 3 people in the final round got a reject within 5 days, but looks like I am on hold.

I spoke to HR twice, but each time they said that the final decisions are still being made. The wait is killing and I am getting very frustrated.

Any thoughts? Should I follow up again? I don't want to follow up too much, lest they get irritated and reject me!

Has anyone heard back with a positive response after so long? My interviews went great actually and one VP gave me a very good feedback on the spot too - so I am remaining hopeful.

I got a FT BB offer as an analyst. It took them a week to get back to me and it was agony, I cant imagine two!

What might be happening is one of two things- either they are very busy and have yet to have a meeting about you (maybe they have and are waiting for HR to get your offer done and don't want to tell you everything until they have it finalized), or you could be a backup candidate and they are waiting to hear if their first choice accepts his offer before notifying you.

Both things suck (one less than the other!) but hold on!

Have a friend who got an offer for a different position from Citi. Said it took them almost two and a half weeks to give him some sort of decision. When they called it was with an exploding offer too. Said something like, "If you're in the position to accept an offer from citigroup then we are in the position to extend you an offer". lol, they're always covering their own ass

hey all, I did get the S&T Summer Associate offer (finally!)....the wait paid off and they explained that they were waiting for some internal approvals. But it took more than 2 weeks...gosh!

Does anyone have any views about the different desks at citi? I will have 2 rotations and am wondering which desks I should choose as my preferences. Any views on the strengths of Citi?
