Citi Full-Time offer Leverage Opinions
I saw that someone from Moelis wants to leverage their offer to one of the top banks. How should a Citi summer analyst who wants to do the same go about using the full time offer to interview next year for GS or MS? Looking for advice on switching for full time.
bump
Be gracious you have a job my god.
Second this.
what's that in the sky? a bird? nope, just another greedy fool on WSO
So you saw the Moelis post where everyone ragged on him/her, and then proceeded to think it would be a good idea for you to do one as well?
Your offer should be rescinded.
Also, you don't have an offer yet -- still contingent upon meeting 'minimum requirements'
I'll save you some time. GS and MS don't want an idiot like you. I feel bad for people who have to work with you at CITI
Every bank giving these auto offers + decaying economic outlook resulting in diminished deal activity = very minimal FT hiring for you to pursue. Firms will be hoping their 2021 classes shrink, not looking to grow them...
if you’re lucky you could go to DB, bright future over there!
You think 2021 summer interns are screwed?
.
Up to you. I would not. FT recruiting is bad if banks start to give out offers. Also - you haven’t even worked a day in Citi why you even think of leverage that free offer to somewhere else...Count the blessings.
Don't be that rat shit. Be grateful of what you have.
