My two buddies at Citi (tech) left the bank earlier this year. This was in NY, can't say much about SF
One of my friends left the tech group a not too long ago. Apparently the culture was awful and the deal flow was low. Exits are what you make of your experience but he is doing corp dev. Citi has a great name, but there are better groups in SF for tech.

I have a pretty good connection there for the SA recruiting next year, but I was just wondering how their current position / status in the area are like.
I did read some posts at WSO saying that it is one of the few BBs that are really growing and willing to hire, but just wanted to get some additional insight as to how their latest situations are like. Thanks so much in advance!

"Decent" is the only way I can describe them. They have been expanding headcount due to a mandate to grow from high up. Whether this is yielding results is highly debatable. I haven't seen them on any notable deals.
