Citi vs. BofA vs. DB LDN

Wanted to hear how these 3 firms currently place in London in terms of exits to UMM/MF, alongside culture/dealflow as well. Would be great to hear about specific teams that stand out for each too — heard DB LevFin is particularly good, curious how TMT fares for each too.

Best teams: BofA HC and C&R, DB Industrials and LevFin. Not sure about Citi

If you want to do LevFin and go down the debt side, later go onto Private Credit - DB Levfin is the place to be. Top team, arguable top 3 in EMEA.

If you want anything apart from LevFin, pick BofA, Citi.

DB: LevFin, TMT (Im tired of everyone saying Industrials - no solid exits at all, all low cap deals - TMT acc has good exits and has been on some large mandates)

BofA: Healthcare, Consumer, M&A execution

Citi: TMT, Healthcare, Industrials

To those saying “DB LF > BofA LF” I have to disagree. While it’s true that they’re not quite up there in LTs, BofA’s LF team is equally as good if not better than DB’s for exits.
