Citi/Barcap/CS SA 21 -> GS SA 22
Interning at one Citi/Barcap/CS as a sophomore summer analyst (non-diversity, non-target), Is it worth it to try for GS for SA 2022 and who calls the shot for their recruiting associates or Vps?

Always worth exploring other options if you're not happy with the group placement. Otherwise, I'd say it's a greater risk of ending up at a worse spot and would recommend just taking advantage of the extra summer with the group and building your rep.
Culture at most groups at Barclays and some at CS > GS, as someone at GS/MS not really sure what the point of this would be.
