You have an offer from Citi Industrials
Should clarify, I have offers from all 3.
NY? Which MBA program are you in to be getting offers so early? This isn’t diversity related, right?
You’re going to get prestige related answers here on WSO. In reality, post MBA associates should focus more on fit IMO. I would go with whatever group you enjoyed meeting with the most.
FWIW GS industrials associate turnover is crazy because the hours are really bad.
My biggest concern is getting absolutely crushed and regretting the decision.
GS you will be underpaid and overworked but you will have worked at GS IBD. So there’s that.
They're all notoriously tough cultures. I think if you're in it for the long haul then pick whoever seems the least grindy but if you're angling for exit ops just take the offer with GS and grit your teeth for a couple of years before you bounce. The GS name definitely helps if you're looking to get into something like corp dev.
Cit industrials has quite good culture depending on the vertical. Heard tough things about chemicals for example, but a lot better in some of the others
