Citizens, DA Davidson, or Leerink???

Started the interview process with these firms. Wanted to see what everyone thought. Definitely want to lateral after a year to upper MM or BB. It would be between DA and Leerink but once I heard the starting salary for Citizens, it made me seriously consider….

Yeah I definitely heard. I have a friend that works there and he said it’s 90-100hrs consistently. The only catch is that I’ve seen better exits from Leerink than DA and especially citizens. So a year of getting burned or a year of uncertainty for lateral opps with DA/Citizens lol

True. Just want to caveat by saying that I feel like most people on this forum discount how destructive 90-100 hrs of work is on an individual. At another similarly sweaty group and if I had known how brutal it would be on my mental health and relationships, I definitely would’ve joined another group. YMMV though, gl with the process

If this is for SA citizens has a terrible conversion rate. Had about a 50% full time offer rate.

Leerink. They’re strong in ECM and have more UMM+ M&A activity. They also certainly pay more than the other two banks…
