CME GCC Intern offer as a Sophomore, Translate well to IB?
Recently received an offer for an internship position at CME Group’s Global Command Center (Chicago) as a sophomore. I plan on going the IB route, and have quality relationships / ins at about 5 Investment Banking firms for the upcoming 2019 summer analyst recruiting season. How would this CME internship look in terms of recruiting for IB? Should I attempt to leverage this offer to move towards a position more valuation related? Or is CME’s name / the market based work I will be doing enough look good? I appreciate any feedback.
