Coffee Chats in Chicago

I'm scheduling flights for Chicago in August for a finance program run by the University (Sun-Fri), and I have a couple questions in relation to coffee chats.

I'm considering getting there early Sunday morning to have free time for coffee chats before I have to meet with my group (5p). Would that be worthwhile or is it uncommon to have coffee chats on weekends?

We have to stay with our group from 8a-8p - are early morning coffee chats common?

Thanks

Only one analyst’s perspective: I would not want to schedule around any plans I had on a weekend to meet someone for coffee, as much as I enjoy paying the help I received during recruitment forward. Plans could mean an early rise mountain biking trip as much as it could mean staying home doing nothing.

If I was working in the office that weekend, I would be focused on getting out of the office as fast as possible, which means not spending any unnecessary extra time away from a free weekend to grab coffee with students. Though, with that said, if you hit me up and I happened to have a lull in the day while my associate/VP was reviewing my work on a Sunday, I’d likely meet up.
