Competitiveness of Corporate Banking vs. IB?
Obviously it's substantially less competitive than IB, but does corporate banking require going to a target school, or can it be attained from a non-target? Thanks for your help!

Definitely doable from a non-target school, the competitiveness obviously depends on which bank/location you’re shooting for. It’s still pretty competitive but I would say the interview process, overall hours and work difficulty is much easier.
You’ll mainly be working on getting loans/RCF approved in your internal credit committee so you can keep supporting clients with capital while trying to get as much cross-sell as possible (DCM, Cash Mgmt, FX, etc).
Thank you so much! Aside from corporate banking internships of course, what other types of internships would be most relevant in your opinion? I already have an accounting related internship under my belt but I was thinking about also applying to local asset management firms.
