Rothschild have the strongest consumer team out of all the EB's. Not sure how they stack up against the BBs.
Thanks!
Rothschild and Lazard have very strong consumer teams among the EBs and stack up relatively well to the top BBs (most of the time as co-advisors)
Thank you! What’s the main difference between acting as main advisor vs. as co advisor?
depends on the deal but some of the larger transactions might have a larger bank which will also provide the financing and a boutique which will just be advisory but conflict-free
What about PWP?
I don't believe that's their strength in London but don't know too much
Wherever you go tell them to buy GameStop
What about CS's CRRH team?
They do very large deals from time to time, but overall deal flow isn’t too strong
To add - very good WLB though
How do JPM/MS perform in the space?
Broadly similar, good teams but not great I'd say
How do the mid-tier BBs stack up with Lazard/Roths?
