Controllers - Salt Lake City - Goldman Sachs; should I have expectations?

Hey guys,

I applied to a few internships (a few of them banking internships) last year. One of them was at GS IBD. A few days ago, GS university reached out to me and asked me if I wanted to considered for a Controllers Internship in Salt Lake City. I want to know if a lot of people who applied to GS in 2021 have received this email. Are they seriously contemplating giving me an offer like this? They wanted me to manually respond to their email too, so it wasn't an automated email sent to everyone I imagine.

I'm starting to lose hope. I won't say I worked insanely hard to get an internship, but I put in a good amount of effort and I was hoping some place would give me a chance.
