Converting Word to PDF

For resumes, when converting Word files to PDF, my margins become messed up. It actually prints differently on every computer that opens it. There's either a massive space above my name, or no space on the bottom (and my last line is cut in half). I'm saving as a PDF on Word. Does anyone have suggestions on their favor Word to PDF converter, or how I can make this work correctly?

Thanks.

google is useful

You're born, you take shit. You get out in the world, you take more shit. You climb a little higher, you take less shit. Till one day you're up in the rarefied atmosphere and you've forgotten what shit even looks like. Welcome to the layer cake, son.

I'm having the same problems with both those PDF converters. Should've mentioned that I've tried all the free ones that I could find on google.

Adjust the properties so it's printing on a standard 8x11 letter page. Right now, the selected paper type is probably legal, which would explain the margins above the page.

Use Cute PDF writer, its free and usually error free.

If you have Adobe Acrobat, change the PDF print settings to a higher quality, this will fix it.

Awesome, thanks I'll definitely try that. What I'm most worried about is how the resumes are coming out when printed by HR. Is there a way for me to save it in a way that forces their printer to print it with certain settings?

I've literally never had that problem with Word. I personally use a Macbook Pro without Microsoft Office right now, so I get the same issue using Pages, but when I used to use remote-access apps or one of the school computers to edit my resume, Word would let me save my file as a PDF that looks and prints identically to a .doc. You're having trouble on the Word end of things?

I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.

It seems to be on the Word end. The margins of my resume are .5" all the way around, if that makes a difference. What would be the recommended margin size?

Acquire a relevant solution to convert Word file to PDF file. Kernel for Word to PDF software proficiently helps you to get rid of all issues.
