COOP Internship
How do students usually find COOP internships through networking? Some posts in the past, indicate that it is possible to get full time internships in the fall at even BBs with much less competition, but they're all old and firms might not do this anymore. Also do students have to pay their school tuition for course credit or could you just do the internship and not be enrolled for the semester (and the firm would be okay with this)?
Sup Husky (assuming NEU and not Uconn)! I would say if you get a 'coop' through your own networking I'd just straight out call it an internship. I got my second co-op through networking, granted it was within the same firm but in a different area where they did not have co-ops before. You can just not enroll for the semester, same thing as a co-op - actually it may be financially beneficial if you have certain loans that accrue per semester. PM if you have specific questions
It depends. If you are an international student you might have to do a CPT. For credit your school will always charge you.
