Our investors cancelled site tour trip from asia due to the fear of virus. It is surprising how people are causious about a virus with 2% lethality rate and delay the deal process. I’m pretty sure it will affect to new deal flows as well
The 2% is small, but I think it was less of a concern when it infected a few people. When talking about absolute numbers, if this thing infects 1M people a 2% mortality rate is still 20K dead. Not nothing. But I agree, people are being very cautious.

People tend to avoid meetings/big gathering. Corporates have reduced the large exec level meetings with people flying across the world to meet because you'd have people coming from Asia + you are putting all talent in the same room which from a risk management perspective is not ideal...
