bump
Think JPM and Citi did bump for corporate - but not sure if the base numbers are identical to IB
(I’ve read the threads but don’t know anyone in CB to confirm)
I can confirm that they matched ib base pay
Thanks - did the associates get matched to $175k base too?
do you know if bofa cb matches ib base? -- both are under the same umbrella
Anyone know if GS would bump CB?
is the corporate banking division in GS under the IB division?
Bump
BMO bumped CB base to $85 for An1, $95 An2. Didn’t match IB pay.
what was the pay for CB analysts before?
70K/80K previously. Current associate pay is 135/150/165
For US it was $75/$85 before
I don't think this is right because I just received a BMO offer starting as an AN2 as $90 Base in CB-M&M. Sign-on Bonus of $10K to cover the bonus I'm not getting in my current job because I'm leaving early.
Are you in Canadian office. $85k is for US.
bump
I can confirm Citi CB has been bumped to match IB. Certain groups, that work IB like hours basically match IB pay. For example, $220 all-in for A2.
What a fucking joke. BMO natural resource corp bankers work 70-80/week and more on live deals and an AN2 makes $115 all-in. How to I lateral fml
A2 means associate and was poorly worded by OP.
Citi IB analyst 1 is like $130-140 comp most years
How about bofa?
Generally higher than BMO. Ive heard from others that bofa has 95k base for first year analyst, and if the bonuses are similar to bmo (which they most likely are, or even higher), the total comp should reach 130-140.
Can anyone comment at all on the bonuses in CB at BMO this year? Was there a 15% bonus increase?
Bump - are Citi and JPM the top paying corporate banking roles? Anybody close in comp to them?
sounds like BAML and WF don’t pay CB as much
