Corporate Banking Expectations

Just got offered an Associate role at Candian 5 Bank in Chicago that houses the corporate bank under the same umbrella as the investment bank ("Captial Markets").

The group works directly on balance sheet loans for different IB/Sponsor clients.  Because of this, I was told that "we work more hours than other groups in the corporate bank".  It was also mentioned this group is the busiest within the corporate bank.  I currently work for another financial institution and really enjoy my current work-life balance so I have a couple of questions...

What are the typical corporate banking hours for a bank that houses the CB under the same umbrella as IB?  Are you expected to work weekends?  If so, how many?  What about vacation?  Given that most CB deals can be planned around, as someone that loves to travel, will I have issues taking my vacation?

Im excited for the role and am happy to put in the hours I need to, but also want to prepare myself for whatever lifestyle change maybe coming.
