Corporate Banking Lifestyle During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Interested in hearing how your lifestyle has changed since the Pandemic started. Will be working in a CIB coverage group come July on the Portfolio side and want to hear your experiences since COVID-19 has started.

Analysts at my bank have talked about their hours increasing up to the low 70s on the high and having to work on the weekends now, whereas beforehand they never worked weekends and typically worked 9-8 across the week. What have your experiences been like and is it beginning to match a lower level IB intensity? And how have bonuses been affected because of the pandemic? Thanks!

Amazing. I have a few questions for you as you're slowly becoming senior in CB based on your title. Is your bank doing anything to ease the strain on WFH i.e. expensed dinners? What tasks are you dealing with as an associate, and have you began to take client leads with your senior bankers?
